Pride is often about visibility.
Stories that deserve to be heard.
Identities that deserve to be celebrated.
Communities that have fought, and continue to fight, to be seen.
Those stories matter.
But this year, we find ourselves thinking about something else. What happens when being LGBTQ+ is recognized as something ordinary? What happens when the reaction becomes no reaction at all?
Not because people don't care. Because they do. Because acceptance has become so complete that there is nothing left to explain.
For many people, that might sound small. For many LGBTQ+ people, it can mean everything.
It means mentioning your partner and the conversation simply continues.
It means introducing yourself without wondering how you'll be perceived. It means being known for your character, your work, and your ideas. It means belonging. We believe everyone deserves that.
