Stage 2 - Challenge Live

The challenge is live. You have 10 days to build, test, refine, and submit your solution.
Stage 3 - Expert Evaluation
OCTOBER 6–15
Factored experts evaluate submissions and select the teams advancing to the final stage.
Stage 4 - Finalists & Awards
OCTOBER 15–16
Finalists are announced, followed by the award ceremony and the reveal of the Hackathon winners.
The Challenge
Build an AI-first customer service system for a real-world banking environment.
Think beyond the demo. Design for production, considering privacy, explainability, fairness, reliability, and scalability while making explicit trade-offs across autonomy, accuracy, latency, cost, and human oversight.
Teams should justify where AI is appropriate, where deterministic logic is preferable, and how the system is evaluated for quality and safety.
